The 6th Annual Athens Area Stand Down will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Athens County Fairgrounds, 286 W. Union Street, Athens.  Veterans will be served from 10am – 12pm (Proof of military service required), the General Public will be served from 12pm – 2pm.

Veterans and those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness will have pre-packaged supplies and information from area community partners available to assist with the challenges they face.

Due to COVID-19, distribution will have limited contact, following the guidance suggested by the local and state health department guidelines.  Masks are encouraged.
