A Book Apart | Book Discussion

October 19, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

Join us for a discussion of Nancy E. Owen’s Rookwood and the Industry of Art: Women, Culture, and Commerce, 1880-1913. We will explore the rise of the Cincinnati-based company, Rookwood Pottery, and learn the vital role women played in creating unique, highly-crafted works of art. Join director Laine Snyder for a lively discussion about Rookwood, and the extraordinary lives of the women artists. Copies are available at the Muskingum County Public Library’s John McIntire branch, located in downtown Zanesville.

Thursday, October 19, 6-7 pm, at the ZMA. Free and open to the public. No registration required.
