Join us for a discussion of Nancy E. Owen’s Rookwood and the Industry of Art: Women, Culture, and Commerce, 1880-1913. We will explore the rise of the Cincinnati-based company, Rookwood Pottery, and learn the vital role women played in creating unique, highly-crafted works of art. Join director Laine Snyder for a lively discussion about Rookwood, and the extraordinary lives of the women artists.
