Six men stemming from Columbus, Athens to Parkersburg are ready to put it all out there, but will they really go “the full monty?” Come see for yourself as ABC Players presents “The Full Monty” at the historic Stuart’s Opera House from March 7-9 and 14-16. The Friday and Saturday performances will start at 7:30 p.m. with 2 p.m. matinees on Sundays.

“The Full Monty” follows six unemployed Buffalo steelworkers, low on both cash and prospects, as they decide to present a strip act at a local club after seeing their wives’ enthusiasm for a strip act and the cash it can bring in. As they prepare for the show, working through their fears, self-consciousness, and anxieties, they overcome their insecurities and find strength in their camaraderie.

The perfect show for a girls’ night out and for anyone who has struggled with insecurities and the ebbs and flows of relationships, this show is sure to make you empathize with the various stories while leaving a fun and entertaining impression.

With music and lyrics by David Yazbek and a book by Terrence McNally, “The Full Monty” bares it all with heart, comedy and a look inside what a person will do to help provide for their loved ones.
