A routine check of a man on probation in Marietta led to the discovery of heroin paraphernalia and ultimately large amounts of heroin.

Officers went to the home of Corey Cowan, 23, earlier Tuesday, and found syringes, two digital scales and a large box of sandwich bags.

Officers also found heroin packed for sale and a large chunk of heroin, and seized twenty-six grams of heroin from the home.

Also present at the residence was Jermaine Green, 33, and his twin brother Jeremy Green.

All three suspects admitted to using heroin at the residence and were arrested on a second-degree felony charge of trafficking in heroin.

The three suspects are being held without bond pending their initial court appearance Wednesday morning.
