On this edition of Conversations from Studio B, WOUB Director and General Manager Tom Hodson talks with Baseball Hall of Fame writer Paul Hagen.

Hagen is to be honored at the National Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Weekend July 27–28 in Cooperstown, N.Y., for his tireless dedication to sports journalism.

In December 2012, Hagen also won the J.G. Taylor Spink Award by the Baseball Writer’s Association of America.

Hagen’s 40-plus year career in sports writing has landed him in Philadelphia, Pa., where he currently writes for MLB.com.

The Creator and Executive Producer of Guy Code, Ryan Ling, initially broke into the business as a video documentarian. In 2012, Ling was nominated for an Emmy for producing MTVU’s Quiet Campus, a documentary about three deaf students and their life at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C.
