Rio Grande Making Changes

The University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College has named three individuals as academic deans.
The changes are for the upcoming school year and part of the reorganization of its academic structure.
The University says the moves will "better serve its students and the community."
David Lawrence has been named the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
Zaki Sharif has been named the Dean of the College of Professional and Applied Studies.
And Donna Mitchell has been named the Dean of the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences.
Rio Grande previously had two colleges in its academic structure but created three as part of the reorganization.
