Gallia County Leaders Partner With Connect Ohio

Officials have signed a lease agreement with broadband provider JB Nets. The lease grants access to three county-owned 911 communications towers.
Jake Kline, the owner of JB Nets, says access to the towers will help more people connect to the internet.
Connect Ohio is a non-profit organization that creates partnerships between county officials and businesses to offer broadband access.
The Gallia County program aims to expand internet coverage to about 450 to 500 households.
The collaboration is expected to create two or three full-time jobs.
