Vinton County Election 2011 Results

In Vinton County, citizens voted on a 1 mill health levy.
The levy was approved 2,320 to 1,644 votes.
The renewal of this levy will continue to pay for health services and facitlity maintenance costs in the county.
In McArthur, James Wooddell claimed the Mayor's office with Juanita McNickle in second, Carolyn McManis Wright in third and Franklin Griffy coming in last.
The Village also had two issues to vote on.
The current operating expense levy was approved 318 to 214 and the police protection levy was also approved 360 to 171.
