A Hocking College student will be taking his learning experience from the classroom to NASA.

Sophomore John Corliss is one of 200 participants nationwide accepted to the National Community College Aerospace Scholars program. The program is hosted by NASA.

Corliss studies Advanced Energy and Fuel Cells at Hocking College.

NCAS students begin with web-based training activities. Based on the performance of web-based activities, a smaller group of selected students will attend a three-day workshop to visit NASA facilities, interacting with NASA engineers, scientists and astronauts.
