A block of tickets is available for the public to attend Gov. John Kasich's State of the State address at an eastern Ohio elementary school.
The governor's office on Tuesday said an undetermined number of tickets for the Feb. 7 event in Steubenville will be distributed via lottery.
Registration runs through 5 p.m. Thursday on the office website. Those selected will be notified Friday.
This year's address to the General Assembly will be the first delivered outside the Statehouse. The governor's office says it will be held in a school auditorium with more room for Ohioans to attend.
Hundreds of protesters attended last year's address, held in Ohio House chambers. While seating in the chamber was full, others watched on screens or listened via speakers posted both indoors and outside.
