Fire Destroys Home Where Boys Went Missing
< < Back to fire-destroys-home-where-boys-went-missingAn early morning house fire destroyed the Glenwood, West Virginia house where two boys went missing earlier this week.
Valley Fire Department firefighters responded to the call around 6 a.m. today.
Assistant Chief Jamie Dean says when firefighters arrived, the homeowner told them to let the house burn.
Dean says the house is a total loss and calls the fire suspicious.
The state fire marshal's office has been called in to investigate.
The boys, 15-year-old Daniel Tucker and his brother 9-year-old Jeremiah Austin, ran away from home because of what the Mason County sheriff called a "rough situation" on Tuesday.
They were found safe that same afternoon and are now staying with relatives.
