Stewart Man Pleads Not Guilty In Sexual Assault Case

Gregory Gilkey appeared before Judge Michael Ward Wednesday in Athens County Common Pleas Court.
Gilkey pleaded not guilty to two counts of gross sexual imposition and two counts of kidnapping.
Athens County Prosecutor Keller Blackburn says the charges stem from allegations that Gilkey sexually assaulted the girl and held her against her will.
Sheriff's deputies say Gilkey confessed to having contact with the girl twice in March.
Gilkey is currently incarcerated in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail with a bond set at $100,000.
