Public Forum To Address Quality Of City Recreation Facilities And Programs
< < Back to public-forum-address-quality-city-recreation-facilities-and-programsThe City of Athens Arts, Parks and Recreation will host a public forum Wednesday evening to discuss the quality of the department's facilities and programs.
Paul Logue, Athens city planner, said the goal of the forum is to solicit feedback and information from the community about how city facilities are utilized. He said it's all in an effort to improve and expand what the city has to offer to residents.
"This is not a complaint driven process. This is just a planning process so that we can look at the long range," said Logue. "[We want to] determine how we should be growing, how we should be developing."
The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Athens Community Center.
