Oil Prices Hover Near 8-Month Lows

Average gas prices in Ohio have dropped more than 20 cents over the past week, though drivers still are paying more than they were at this time last year.
A gallon of regular gas averaged $3.43 in Monday's survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express. The average a week ago was 22 cents higher at $3.65.
A year ago, the cost was about $3.38.
Oil prices remain near eight-month lows. The cost of crude has plummeted over the past two months amid increasing signs of a slowdown in the global economy, led by Europe, that could reduce demand for crude.
Nationally, the average price for regular gas is about $3.41, down a dime from last week.
