Multi-County Bridge Inspections Set For Next Week
< < Back to multi-county-bridge-inspections-set-next-weekScheduling conflicts for the Ohio Department of Transportation have forced officials to re-schedule a set of bridge inspections in Belmont and Jefferson counties during the week of the Fourth of July.
According to a release from ODOT, crews will be in Belmont County on July 2, looking at the State Route 7 bridge in Martins Ferry.
On July 3, workers will be in the Newcomerstown area of Tuscarawas County, inspecting the County Road 4 bridge which goes over Interstate 77.
And ODOT teams will be in Jefferson County July 5th and 6th working on State Route 7 bridges at Rush Run and Goose Run there.
An ODOT spokesperson says traffic will be restricted, but not shut down, in the areas during the often travelled summer week.
