Enrollment Is Up At Ohio University

Enrollment at Ohio University is up from last year.

As of September 7th, the total number of students enrolled was 36,808 that is approximately 1,300 more than last year.

OU also continues to see growth in eLearning, both online and off-campus.

This year, there are 5,196 eLearning students up more than 800 from last year.

"We continue to defy the odds when it comes to enrollment," said Craig Cornell, Vice Provost for Enrollment Management. "It is a highly competitive enviorment but students and their families continue to be attracted by the quality of an Ohio University education."

The University has also seen an increase in the average ACT score and GPA of incoming students.

The new average ACT score is 24 up 0.4 from last year and the new average GPA is 3.4 up .07 from last year.
