Hacker Group Leaks Video Related To Alleged Rape Case
< < Back to hacker-group-leaks-video-related-alleged-rape-caseA video connected to the case of an alleged rape of a teenage girl in Steubenville has surfaced on the Internet.
The video, posted on YouTube on Wednesday by a hacker group calling itself “Knight Sec” supposedly shows an uncharged juvenile joking about the alleged assault.
Two Steubenville High School football players face charges they raped the girl when she was too drunk to resist in August 2012.
The video posting is the latest action by “Knight Sec” related to the case. The group posted other messages on a website dedicated to Steubenville High School athletics earlier this month.
According to Steubenville Police Chief Bill McCafferty the video had already been turned over to the Ohio Attorney General before it was posted on YouTube by “Knight Sec.”
A peaceful demonstration in support for the alleged victim is scheduled for January 5 at Steubenville City Hall.
The trial for the two suspects is set for February 13 in juvenile court.
