Bobcats Earn Spots on Academic All-MAC Team

Kristen Capcik and Lauren Funk have been named to the Mid-American Conference Swimming and Diving Academic All-MAC Team. Alexa Gordish, MaryRose Hamilton, Michelle Gasior, Morgan Sprosty and Morgan Srail have all be selected as Honorable Mention recipients.
Funk earned recognition for her work inside the pool as well, and earned a spot on the Second All-MAC Team. During this year's league championships, she recorded one title and had two top-three finishes. Capcik had a solid championship week as well, placing fifth for the three-meter diving board and 11th for the one-meter board.
Funk is a senior interior architecture major with a 3.283 GPA. Capcik is a junior majoring in bios, pre-profssional and has a 3.963 GPA.
