Bikes, Barbeque On Tap For Meigs County Fest

Meigs County will host a weekend of motorcycles, live entertainment and barbeque during the 10th Annual Gold Wings & Ribs Festival, being held June 7-8 in Pomeroy, Ohio.
Located on Main Street with the Ohio River providing a picturesque backdrop, the fest is not only offering "Ohio's Best Ribs," but also "Ohio's Best Wings," featuring Gold Wing Road Rider motorcycle tours and parades, Honda & Harley Dealers, pin stripping and more.
Other activities include cookie stacking, pickle spittin', and BBQ hog callin' contests, along with the free live entertainment on the Riverfront Amphitheatre.
Pomeroy is located just 30 minutes south of Ohio University, off State Route 33 on State Route 833.

6 p.m. Tim Omark Band (Riverfront Amphitheatre)
8 p.m. BBQ Hog Callin' Contest – All Ages (prize money)

9:10 p.m. Billy Starrett & The Hired Guns (Riverfront Amphitheatre)
Saturday, June 8
10 a.m. DJ Rockin Reggie, food and artisan vendors open, Art in the Park
11 a.m. special announcements, thank you to sponsors and supporters
12 p.m. open mic karaoke
1 p.m. guided motorcycle tour & poker run
1:30 p.m. balloon toss
2 p.m. Hula Hoop contest
2:15 p.m. cookie stacking contest
2:30 p.m. pickle spittin' contest – also adult category
2:45 p.m. Stick Pony Rodeo (thoroughbred event & contest)
5:10 p.m. "Ohio's Best Wings" winner announced
