The Marietta Pioneers’ offensive woes continued Saturday as they were shut out in their 1-0 loss against the Heidelberg Student Princes.

The game’s lone goal in the 52nd minute when Heidelberg midfielder Christopher Koczak beat a defender and found the back of the net after Hamid Shariff set him up.

The Student Princes were aggressive all game as they totaled 17 shots Saturday, including six shots on goal. The Pioneers, however, struggled mightily as they mustered three shots the entire game.
