Weather Likely Cause of Fatal Pike County Crash
< < Back to weather-likely-cause-fatal-pike-county-crashSlick roadways are thought to have contributed to a two vehicle collision that killed a Bainbridge woman Monday morning.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Marilyn Leeth, 59, was killed when her Jeep Liberty went left of center and struck a semi tractor-trailer driven by Douglas Holcomb, 39, or Marengo, Ohio.
Leeth was thrown from her vehicle when the impact spun the Jeep.
Holcomb's vehicle ran off the side of the road and into an embankment.
Holcomb was treated for minor injuries at Pike County Community Hospital.
US 23 was closed for about an hour and a half while the accident was investigated.
