Hoopla In The Hills Moving To Route 56

The multi-day music festival Hoopla in the Hills slated for next month will be changing locations from Poston Lake in Stewart to The Venue on Route 56 in Athens. The relocation announcement was made Friday.

The Hoopla in the Hills Music and Arts Festival will be held March 27-30 at The Venue, the location that has housed Number Fest in recent years.

The festival will feature two performances by Athens natives Papadosio, plus EOTO, Keller Williams, Ott, Chris Berry Trio with Michael Kang of String Cheese Incident, Zoogma, Cornmeal, Larry Keel & Natural Bridge, Moon Hooch, Rumpke Mountain Boys and more.

The Venue has over 60 acres of fields and gravel roads to compliment the 250 acres of forest, hiking trails, and creeks. Hoopla in the Hills will be offering overnight camping at The Venue for the first time ever. 


Hoopla in the Hills features 60 acts performing 70 sets for 72 hours of continuous music and artistic talent highlighted in the Artist Village. This will include multiple galleries, stage, installation art, workshops and more.

Advance Hoopla in the Hills tickets are available now for $85 for a limited time. Final tier ticket prices will be as follows: Thursday-Sunday ($100), Friday-Sunday ($90), Saturday-Sunday ($60) with each ticket including free parking and camping. Hoopla 2014 is also a kid-friendly and family-oriented festival, with a children’s play area and adjoining camping area. Kids under the age of 15 are admitted at no cost.
