The Work Station To Host Hiring Events

The Work Station, located at 70 N. Plains Road in The Plains, will be hosting three hiring events starting this week.

Tim Hortons has arranged to have open interviews on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The organization is hiring for all positions. Candidates are asked to bring their resume and dress appropriately for on-the-spot interviews.

Another open interview event is planned for Blankenship Masonry on Oct. 28, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Those with brick laying and/or masonry experience will be given preference. Interested job seekers are asked to bring their ID and social security card, along with their resume.

No appointments are required for open interviews. Job seekers are reminded to bring their resume and to dress appropriately for a possible interview.

The Work Station will also host a hiring event focusing on the home health care industry on Nov. 4. Employers will accept resumes and interview applicants for CNAs, PCAs, HHAs, STNAs, LPNs and RNs. Those with little or no experience in the home health care field are still encouraged to attend, as on-the-job training may be provided for entry-level positions.
