On December 10, The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced nominees for the 73rd annual Golden Globe Awards.

“Wolf Hall” on MASTERPIECE received three Golden Globe® nominations, including a nod for Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television. Mark Rylance and Damian Lewis both scored nominations for their roles in “Wolf Hall.” The duo is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor and Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television, respectively.

Joanne Froggatt, who plays Mrs. Anna Bates in “Downton Abbey,” a Carnival Films/MASTERPIECE Co-Production, earned a nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.

Winners will be announced during a live telecast from the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on January 10, 2016.

“Downton Abbey” on MASTERPIECE is the most-watched drama in PBS history. “Downton Abbey, The Final Season” will air on MASTERPIECE beginning Sunday, January 3, 2016 on WOUB. Rejoin the Crawley family for a sixth and final season of intimately interlaced stories centered on the English country estate.
