Arrests Made In Connection With Vandalism

The Athens County Sheriff’s office has made multiple arrests after reports of vandalism.
Three juveniles, each 17 years-old, have admitted to causing over $10,000 worth of damage to cars around the area.
“At this point, 43 cars were reported vandalized along with other residential property being damaged,” the sheriff’s office stated in a press release.
Each of the juveniles have been referred to the Athens County Prosecutors office with a request to be charged with one count of vandalism.
Investigators are still working to receive quotes for the damage reported.
