Vinton County Passes Electric Aggregation

The village will now purchase electricity on a community rate due to the 205 people who voted for the issue, compared to the 193 who voted against it.
In other races, Margaret Knox won the right to run against Republican Erin Yates in the November general election for Vinton County Recorder. Knox received 647 votes, beating Judy Huff Harper’s 377.
Michael M. Bledsoe will have the opportunity to run for Vinton County Commissioner in November, which would result in the completion of his fifth and final term. Steven Duane Boring lost the race with 866 votes, while Bledsoe received 1,123. Bledsoe will face Democrat Carol Porter in the November general election.
A 0.5-mil, five-year Senior Services levy passed, with 1,844 people voting for the measure and 1,243 voting against it.
