Campbell Named All-American Honorable Mention

MAC Player of the Year Tony Campbell was named an Honorable Mention for the Associated Press All-American teams on.
Campbell helped lead the ‘Cats to a semifinals appearance in the MAC tournament and a semifinals appearance in the College Basketball Invitational post-season tournament. He averaged 17.1 points per game and 10.2 rebounds on an average of 28.9 minutes per game this year.
Every year since coming to Ohio, Campbell has improved in both of those statistical categories. He averaged 10 points per game a year ago along with 7.6 rebounds, and in his freshman season averaged 3.8 points and 2.6 rebounds in 9.6 minutes played a game.
This season Campbell was incredibly integral to Ohio’s success. In fact, when he played in 30 minutes or more this year, Ohio went 14-4.
