Last week Stuart’s Opera House welcomed the public to take a tour of their historic premises as a part of Ohio History Connection’s Ohio Open Doors Week and National Arts Education Week.

The evening included a guided tour and Q&A with Stuart’s Marketing Director Brian Koscho, a special letterpress workshop with Marietta artist Bobby Rosenstock of Just A Jar Design Press, displays of historical artifacts and photos dating from the Opera House’s beginnings in 1879 up through its building and reopening in 1997, and even some video clips from a never before seen tour of Stuart’s in the late 1970’s before the 1980 fire.

Check out these photos from the event from WOUB’s Robert McGraw.
