Peoples Bank Theatre to Present ‘Very Victorian Christmas’ Dec. 7

Step into London circa 1843 where street carolers welcome you to tonight’s performance and bid you enjoy the sights and sounds of the Victorian marketplace. Children are invited to make a Victorian ornament to hang on a tree and adults may wish to sip a cup of mulled cider with us. Enjoy a selection of traditional Christmas melodies first popularized in the Victorian era. Then, join the Spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Future as together they teach ol’ Ebenezer Scrooge the true meaning of Christmas in a heartfelt production of Charles Dickens’ timeless classic, A Christmas Carol. The production is complete with period costumes, singing, and dancing. This festive evening for the whole family is presented by Veritas Classical Academy.
The event kicks off at 7 p.m., and tickets are $25 to $35 each.
