The Trimble Tomcats had the scoreboard on their side the entire game until the Bobcats turned the tables when they took the lead with six minutes left in the game, making it 50 to 49.

Randy Hixson and the Tomcats wouldn’t let Green get away with a win too easily by keeping it close for the rest of the game.

In the end, Trimble didn’t have enough time to keep up with the Bobcat’s momentum as the fell to Green 68 to 66.

All of Trimble’s starters contributed to the Tomcat’s effort.

Randy Hixson was the top scorer with 22 points. He also had four rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Brandon Weber was close behind with 17 points, six rebounds, and two assists.

Max Hopper also had seven points, seven rebounds, one assist, and one steal.

Green’s Tayte Carver was the star player of the night. The six-foot junior put thirty points on the board accounting for almost half of the Bobcats’ final score.

Trimble’s season may have come to an end, but they still have one more game to play. The Tomcats will take on Waterford Wednesday night to determine who will take the TVC Hocking crown.

The Green Bobcats will be back at the Convo on Saturday where they will take on the Peebles Indians.
