This weekend, WOUB presents encore presentations of some of the popular programs that have been airing during the Spring Membership Campaign. You can always keep up to date with what’s airing on WOUB by checking out our schedule at this link.

In addition, there will be new programming premiering on WOUB-TV.

FRIDAY, MARCH 23
8:30 p.m. – Bee Gees One For All Tour – Live in Australia 1989
Enjoy the tight harmonies of Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb as they perform their greatest hits. Check out WOUB’s Emily Votaw’s in-depth look at the career of one of the most polarizing pop groups in music history right here.

 
SATURDAY, MARCH 24
Saturday morning/afternoon – programming to provide viewers with healthy ideas for their body, mind, and financial future.

11 a.m. – Food: What the Heck Do I Eat? With Mark Hyman, MD
Dr. Mark Hyman reveals which foods nurture our health and which foods can pose a threat.

1 p.m. – Survival Guide for Pain-Free Living with Peggy Cappy
Easy-to-do stretches and other yoga moves that can help relieve pain are demonstrated.

2 p.m. – Brainfit: 50 Ways to Grow Your Brain with Daniel Amen, MD
Dr. Daniel Amen and Tana Amen share their best secrets to ignite your energy and focus at any age.

4 p.m. – Suze Orman’s Financial Solutions For You
Suze Orman provides advice to help individual viewers “find financial solutions for you.”

6 p.m. – Bee Gees One For All Tour – Live in Australia 1989

8 p.m. – You Are the Universe with Deepak Chopra, MD
Each of us is a co-creator of reality extending to the vastest reaches of time and space.

10 p.m. – Roy Orbison: Black & White Night 30
Celebrate the 30th anniversary of an iconic concert with an all-star cast including Jackson Browne. Take a look at this feature about one of rock ‘n’ roll’s greatest spectacled wonders right here.

SUNDAY, MARCH 25
12 p.m. – You Are the Universe with Deepak Chopra, MD
Each of us is a co-creator of reality extending to the vastest reaches of time and space.

2 p.m. – Rick Steves Special: European Easter
Rick Steves explores Easter in a variety of cultures throughout Spain, Slovenia, Italy and Greece.

3:30 p.m. – Mister Rogers: It’s You I Like
Celebrate Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, the children’s series that premiered nationally 50 years ago. WOUB’s Emily Votaw spoke to Ohio University’s John Butler, who has quite the connection to our nation’s favorite emblem of non-toxic masculinity. Check out that feature right here.

5 p.m. – Age Reversed with Miranda Esmonde-White
Valuable insights on how to combat the physical signs and consequences of aging are presented.

6:30 p.m. – Masterpiece Classic: Downton Abbey
Downton Abbey returns to WOUB. Be sure to watch the series from the beginning. Created by Oscar-winning writer Julian Fellowes, Downton Abbey depicts the lives of the noble Crawley family and the staff who serve them, set at their Edwardian country house in 1912. Featuring an all-star cast, including Hugh Bonneville, Dame Maggie Smith and Elizabeth McGovern.

8 p.m. – Call The Midwife – the first episode of season seven! Read more about the new season here.

9 p.m. – Call The Midwife – episode two of the new season
This moving, intimate, funny and true-to-life series, based on the best-selling memoirs of the late Jennifer Worth, tells colorful stories of midwifery and families in London’s East End in the 1950s.

10 p.m. – Doo Wop Generations (My Music)
Celebrate the new generation of doo wop performers as the original legends reunite to pass the torch. Performers include Kenny Vance & the Planotones, The Duprees, The Whiptones, Charlie Thomas’ Drifters, The Modern Gentlemen and many more. MONDAY, MARCH 26
8:00 pm – Our Town: Athens, Ohio
Hopefully, you will be able to attend the Sunday, March 25 debut of Our Town: Athens at Ohio University’s Templeton Blackburn Memorial Auditorium. If not, be sure to watch the wonderful documentary on WOUB-TV. Our Town: Athens explores the long, rich history of Athens, as told through the lens of numerous interviews and tons of fascinating historic photographs and footage. The production is crafted by Evan Shaw, WOUB’s award-winning producer responsible for the four prior installments to the Our Town series.
