< < Back toEvery weekend local music geeks unite to provide the region with 11 hours of creatively curated tunes on WOUB 1340AM, an endeavor that is known commonly as Radio Free Athens! Typically the program runs from 9 a.m. EST to 8 p.m. EST every Saturday, and can also be heard through this link.
Here is a list of the DJs slated to play on Saturday, September 22:
9 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Automated
12 p.m. to 3 p.m. – Natalie Colarossi
3 p.m. to 6 p.m. – DJ Grumpy Grandma
6 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Michael T

From Natalie Colarossi, 12 p.m. EST to 3 p.m. EST
This week, I’m bringing some of my favorite rap, funk, and punk to the radio free air waves. And of course, a little classic rock ‘n’ blues to keep things interesting.
I’m thinkin’ Nas. A Tribe Called Quest. Ziggy Stardust. And if we’re lucky, I might even sprinkle in some Maggot Brain and Shuggie Otis.
Tune in for a wild set.

I’m not at my typical early morning slot this weekend, and that’s probably a good thing since I’ll be up late grooving to Guerilla Toss at The Union Friday night! I promise to not get too wrapped up in Friday night shenanigans, though, my friends, and will most definitely deliver a fine radio show Saturday afternoon.
I impulsively bought tickets to see Paul Simon last Monday night in Pittsburgh, so I imagine I’ll be spinning some of Paul’s lesser known great works, like “Stranded in a Limousine,” “Once Upon a Time There Was a Mountain,” and the like.
