< < Back to local-author-examines-a-generation-of-west-virginians-in-goshen-roadGoshen Road is a novel set in rural West Virginia that follows the poignant, intense, and fascinating lives of four main characters over the course of one generation. The book is local author and longtime Hocking College professor Bonnie Proudfoot’s first novel, and it is currently available at the Little Professor Bookstore (65 South Court Street, Athens) right now. On Thursday, January 30 at 4 p.m., Little Professor will hold a book launch event for Goshen Road.
WOUB’s Emily Votaw spoke to Proudfoot about the novel in the interview embedded above. Proudfoot also provided a reading of the first few pages of the book, which is also embedded above.
