Two Killed In Collision On US-33 Outside of Athens
< < Back toAshley Ashley, 24, The Plains, and an infant are dead after a two-vehicle accident on US-33 between the Pleasanton Road and Rainbow Lake Road exits.
The Ohio State Patrol says Tuesday afternoon’s accident happened after Michael Angelo’s van veered left of center and hit a pickup truck that was traveling westbound.
The 34 year old had to be MedFlighted to Columbus. Ashley, his passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene. The infant was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene as well.
The driver of the pickup, Ronald Smith, 54, Guysville, was sent to O’Bleness Memorial Hospital for observation.
