Unofficial Election Results For Belmont County

Here are the unofficial results in Belmont County for the 2020 general election. Only the contested races are listed:

For the county commissioner term beginning Jan. 2, Republican Josh Meyer received 20,367 votes and Democrat Mike Bianconi received 10,978 votes. For the county commissioner term beginning Jan. 3, Republican J.P. Dutton received 17,703 votes and Vince Gianangeli received 13,638 votes.

For the Belmont County auditor, Republican Cindi L. Henry received 17,558 votes and Democrat Anthony Rocchio received 13,745 votes.

For the Belmont County recorder, Republican Jason A. Garczyk received 19,774 votes and Democrat Cory M. DelGuzzo received 11,539 votes.

For the Bellaire Local School District permanent improvement levy, 2,247 voted for and 1,847 voted against.

For the St. Clairsville Article II regarding mayor’s power charter amendment, 1,741 voted for and 864 voted against. For the St. Clairsville Article IV Section 1 regarding the director of finance position charter amendment, 2,062 voted for and 536 voted against. On the other hand, 1,941 voted for and 669 voted against the St. Clairsville Article IV regarding the position vacancy charter amendment.

For the Martins Ferry 5 mills police protection levy, 1,373 voted for and 1,036 voted against. For the Martins Ferry 1 mill fire truck levy, 1,388 voted for and 1,023 against.

For the Belmont Village 2 mills current expenses levy, 127 voted for and 90 voted against. For the Bethesda Village 1.5 mills park district levy, 331 voted for and 203 voted against.

For the Bridgeport Village 1.5 mills current expenses levy, 315 voted for and 361 voted against. For the Bridgeport Village 1.5 mills current expenses levy, first due in 2022, 331 voted for and 351 voted against. For the Bridgeport Village 5 mills police protection levy, 317 voted for and 364 voted against.

For the Powhatan Village 3 mills park district levy, 421 voted for and 210 voted against.

For the Wilson Village 5 mills street repair levy, 15 voted for and 14 voted against.

For the Yorkville Village 1 mill current expenses levy, 122 voted for and 65 voted against.

For the Memorial Park District 0.5 mill park and pool levy, 4,170 voted for and 2,546 voted against.

For the Holloway Village 1.9 mills current expenses levy, 68 voted for and 53 voted against. For the Holloway Village 1.5 mills current expenses levy, 65 voted for and 56 voted against. For the Holloway Village 1 mill fire protection levy, 86 voted for and 33 voted against.

For the Shadyside Village 2.5 mills current expenses levy, 1,034 voted for and 748 voted against. For the Shadyside Village 1.9 mills current expenses levy, 1,097 voted for and 700 against.

For the Goshen Township 0.5 mills fire protection levy, 505 voted for and 237 voted against. For the Goshen Township 1 mill fire protection levy, first due in 2022, 448 voted for and 291 voted against. For the Goshen Township 1.3 mills roads and bridges levy, 477 voted for and 271 voted against.
