Fort Frye Back In Full Force, Finds Victory Against Logan
< < Back toBEVERLY, Ohio (WOUB) — With rain across the 740 area, it made for a slick night on the gridiron for the Fort Frye Cadets and the Logan Chieftains.
The elements seemed to get to the best of the Chieftains as they went scoreless in the first half, and totaled -8 rushing yards.
However, Fort Frye found their groove the moment they had their first offensive possession. By the end of the first half, Ian Ellis went 6-for-6 on the night with 4 touchdowns, 145 yards.
With the blue and white dominating, the first half so heavily, they added another win to their record improving to 6-and-2 on the season. Meanwhile, Logan drops to 2-and-7.
The Chieftains prepare for a matchup against Zanesville next week, and the Cadet’s get ready to square off against Williamstown to close out the regular season.
