Alexander Lady Spartans aims for another successful season

After a stellar season, finishing second in the TVC-Ohio with a 16-6 record as well as winning two playoff games, the Alexander Spartans look to have another successful year.
While the Spartans did graduate three starters including all-state honorable mention Jadyn Mace, they do return some key pieces to the team.
Kara Meeks all-state special mention Marlee Grinstead will look to play a much bigger role, especially when it comes to scoring.
“This year I’ll have to step up a lot more because in the past years I’ve had girls that just get after it,” Grinstead said. “I’m going to have to step up way more than I have in the past.”
The dynamic duo of Meeks and Grinstead look to improve from last year by winning a sweet sixteen title.
