Brandon Shull takes home title of Grand Champion at the 2022 Ohio State Old Time Fiddler’s Contest

NELSONVILLE, Ohio (WOUB) — The 2022 Ohio State Old Time Fiddlers Contest took place at Stuart’s Opera House (52 Public Square) Friday, August 19. The competition attracted fiddlers of all ages, and in the end, the winners of the age divisions were as follows:

12 and under 

1st – Owen Hoopes

2nd – Anna McCracken

3rd – Audrey Robberts

13-18 

1st – Haley Shields

2nd – Jakin Bass

3rd – Josephine Goodyear

19-54 

1st – Brandon Shull

2nd – Kerry Varble

3rd – Marrissa Sementilli

55+ 

1st – Kay Lorson

2nd – Steve Bing

3rd – Lynne Kitchen

The Grand Champion of the 2022 event was Brandon Shull.
