Republican Tim Eberts earned a position as Vinton County Commissioner, with 60.19% of the vote. Independent Jeff Martin earned 25.86% of the vote. Democrat Lynn Herrold earned 13.95% of the vote.
Voters in McArthur Village approved a renewal Police Levy for 2.5 mills for 4 years by a vote of 358 to 134.
Voters in McArthur Village approved Current Operating Expenses Levy – Renewal of 4 mills/4 years by a vote of 331 to 152.
Voters in McArthur Village approved a Parks and Recreation Levy – Renewal of 3.5 mills/4 years by a vote of 364 to 135.
Voters in Brown Township approved a Fire Levy – Renewal of 1 mill/5 years by a vote of 57 to 26.
