Here are the unofficial 2023 General Election results for Fairfield County

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – Here are the unofficial results for contested races and local issues in Fairfield County.

Corey Schoonover, Alayna Hoop, Bob Wolfinger and Michael Wing earned positions on Lancaster City council with 20.43%, 19.88%, 18.06% and 17.82% of the vote respectively. Melody Bobbitt earned 15.11% of the vote and Tracy L. Virgin earned 8.7% of the vote.

Joe Steager earned a position as Canal Winchester mayor with 42.72% of the vote. Mike Walker earned 29.66% of the vote and Mike Ebert earned 27.62% of the vote.

Will Bennett, Alec McLaughlin and Church Milliken earned positions on Canal Winchester council with 23.2%, 22.82% and 18.86% of the vote respectively. Tina L. Welch earned 18.81% of the vote and Richard Moore earned 16.31% of the vote.

Lee Gray earned a position as Pickerington City mayor with 56.47% of the vote. Toby Sidorski earned 43.53% of the vote.

Mark A. Moore earned a position as Amanda Village mayor with 65.61% of the vote. Char Fisher earned 34.39% of the vote.

Rick Ellas earned a position as Baltimore Village mayor with 62.69% of the vote. Debbie Schaffner earned 37.31% of the vote.

Rick Foreman and Gar B. Philips earned positions for Baltimore Village council with 45.56% and 35.06% of the vote respectively. Tammie Litz earned 19.38% of the vote.

Anthony M. Taylor earned a position as Bremen Village mayor with 76.81% of the vote. Kelly Brown earned 23.19% of the vote.

John F. Lemmon and Don Cable earned positions for Buckeye Lake Council with 75% and 25% of the vote respectively. Linda Goodman, Adam L. Miller and Robert Scherman earned 0% of the vote.

Preston Barringer earned a position as Carroll Village mayor with 58.90% of the vote. Adam Tippett earned 41.10% of the vote.

Gary R. Matheny earned a position as Millersport Village mayor with 71.47% of the vote. Craig Cooperrider earned 28.535 of the vote.

David R. Cotner earned a position as Greenfield Township trustee with 65.53% of the vote. Ronnie G. Wyne earned 34.47% of the vote.

Jessica Kull earned a position as Greenfield Township fiscal officer with 63.89% of the vote. Dawn R. Wyne earned 36.11% of the vote.

Gail V. Ellinger earned a position as Hocking Township trustee with 63.83% of the vote. Holly J. Miller-Downour earned 36.17% of the vote.

Mary Griffith earned a position as Madison Township fiscal officer with 37.79% of the vote. Kristin Balthaser earned 32.13% of the vote and Jamie R. Queen earned 30.08% of the vote.

Rayna Moellendick earned a position as Pleasant Township trustee with 63.49% of the vote. Matthew Short earned 36.51% of the vote.

Rick Moyer earned a position as Rushcreek Township trustee with 36.15% of the vote. Tim Thomas earned 32.12% of the vote and David Myers earned 31.73% of the vote.

Willian R. Yates earned a position as a Walnut Township trustee with 55.90% of the vote. Barney P. Phalen earned 45.7% of the vote.

John Garber, Dean Miller and Dustin L. Wharton earned positions as members of the Berne Union Local School District Board of Education with 25.65%, 25.65% and 25.04% of the vote respectively. Rex Coleman earned 23.65% of the vote.

Adam C. Twiss and Chloe Green earned positions as members of the Canal Winchester Local School District Board of Education with 33.98% and 23.95% of the vote respectively. Matt Krueger earned 22.59% of the vote and Kevin W. Butler earned 19.48% of the vote.

Jen Sherman and Pamela Bender earned positions as members of the Bloom-Carroll Local School District Board of Education with 73% of the vote and 26% of the vote respectively. Ron Fowler earned 1% of the vote.

Mark Henson and Cathy Olshefski earned positions as members of the Pickerington Local School District Member Board of Education with 24.74% and 22.75% of the vote respectively. Cheryl Ricketts earned 22.07% of the vote, D. Keith Kristoff earned 18% of the vote and Steven Anderson earned 12.43% of the vote.

Debra Moore and Kandee Engle earned positions as members on the Southwest Licking Local School District Board of Education with 29.57% and 25.23% of the vote respectively. Michael Miller earned 19.71% of the vote, Cory J. Ford earned 18.79% of the vote and Alexander Smiley earned 6.7% of the vote.

Heith Good, Roxanne H. Davis, and Mike France earned positions as members of the Teays Valley Local School District Board of Education with 32.6%, 23.13% and 22.77% of the vote respectively. Bill McGowan earned 21.49% of the vote.

Carol A. King, Debbi Popo and Dave Ederitt earned positions as members on the Walnut Township Local School District Board of Education with 46.87%, 15.12% and 12.83% of the vote respectively. Christopher Redd earned 9.23% of the vote, Gary Haney earned 9.18% of the vote, John Singleton earned 6% of the vote and Rob Robertson earned .78% of the vote.

Voters in Clearcreek Township voted down a Roads and Bridges Levy – Renewal and Increase (1 mill/5 years) by a vote of 673 to 496.

Voters in Canal Winchester Local School District voted down an Operations Levy – Substitution (10.2 mills/5 years) by a vote of 1,111 to 997.

Voters in Fairfield County approved a District Library Levy – Replacement (0.5 mills/10 years) by a vote of 17,694 to 16,142.

Voters in Fairfield County approved a Meals on Wheels Levy – Replacement (0.8 mills/5 years) by a vote of 36,540 to 17,264.

Voters in Lithopolis Village voted down a Police Levy (0.5% income/5 years) by a vote of 455 to 233.

Voters in Sugar Grove Village approved a Sensible Marihuana Ordinance by a vote of 76 to 71.
