Here are the unofficial 2023 General Election results for Perry County

PERRY COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – Here are the unofficial results for contested races and local issues in Perry County.

Drew Cannon earned a position as municipal court judge with 51.75% of the vote. Tery T.J. Rugg earned 48.25% of the vote.  

Sharon Barron earned a position as mayor of Corning with 68.04% of the vote. David Manring earned 31.95% of the vote. 

Christopher S. Mohler earned a position as mayor of Crooksville with 63.01% of the vote. David L. Love Jr. Earned 36.98% of the vote. 

Dan Bethel, Ty J. Danison and Bob Spencer earned positions on the New Lexington village council with 28.89%, 25.64%, and 23.70% of the votes respectively. David Harold Pletcher earned 21.75% of the vote. 

Brian Douglas Stickel earned a position as mayor of Roseville with 88.05% of the vote. Lyman Lincoln earned 12.5% of the vote. 

Timothy K. Humphrey earned a position as mayor of Shawnee with 53.14% of the vote. Beverly Decore-Trovato earned 46.85% of the vote. 

Amanda M. Lackey earned a position as mayor of Thornville with 65.17% of the vote. Gina Kaetzel earned 34.82% of the vote. 

Dale A. Brussee and Sterling Krout earned positions on the Thornville village council with 35.24% of the vote for each of them. Erica Gayle O’Neill earned 29.50% of the vote. 

Carol E. Middaugh earned a position as Clayton Township fiscal officer with 61.13% of the vote. Cheryl A. Ruyf earned 38.86% of the vote. 

Donald Sines earned a position as Coal Township trustee with 50.58% of the vote. Charlie Hoops earned 49.41% of the vote. 

Donnie L. Danison earned a position as Monday Creek Township trustee with 58.56% of the vote. Mike Kessler earned  41.43% of the vote. 

Mike Boley earned a position as Pike Township trustee with 53.18% of the vote. Allen M. Randolph earned 46.81% of the vote. 

James A. Emmert earned a position as Reading Township trustee with 48.01% of the vote. Mike Skinner earned 28.20% of the vote, Jim Ludwig earned 18.03% of the vote and Adam Anderson earned 5.74% of the vote. 

Annette Moore earned a position as Reading Township fiscal officer with 57.27% of the vote. Shannon Coconis earned 42.72% of the vote. 

Chris Hamill, Joshua Baker and Jim Swingle earned positions as members of the Franklin Local School District Board of Education with 27.63%, 26.96% and 23.41% of the votes respectively. John Coler earned 22% of the vote. 

Amy Black and Scott J. Anzalone earned positions as members of the Logan-Hocking School District Board of Education with 44.66% and 36.56% of the votes respectively. Larry Barrett earned 18.78% of the vote. 

Ray Hatem and Bill Nutt earned positions as members of the New Lexington School District Board of Education with 43.38% and 31.45% of the votes respectively. Shelly J. Kaido earned  25.15% of the vote. 

Levi Dupler and Dale DeRolph earned positions as members of the Northern Local School District Board of Education with 42.52% and 34.91% of the votes respectively. Ray Bragel earned  22.55% of the vote. 

Albert Siemer and Sean Bartley earned a position as members of the Southern Local School District Board of Education with 37.81% and 31.83% of the votes respectively. Wendy Aichele earned 30.34% of the vote. 

Voters in Coal Township approved a Fire Protection Levy – Renewal (4.6 mills/5 years) by a vote of 167 to 86. 

Voters in Coal Township approved a Cemetery Levy – Renewal (1 mill/5 years) by a vote of 179 to 84. 

Voters in Hopewell Township voted down a Fire Protection Levy – Replacement (2.5 mills/5 years) by a vote of 458 to 440. 

Voters in Monroe Township approved a Cemetery Levy – Renewal (0.6 mills/continuing) by a vote of 212 to 155. 

Voters in Monroe Township approved a Cemetery Levy – Renewal (0.4 mills/continuing) by a vote of 218 to 155. 

Voters in Monroe Township approved a Current Expenses Levy – Renewal (0.8 mills/5 years) by a vote of 204 to 165. 

Voters in Pleasant Township approved a Cemetery Levy – Renewal (0.8 mills/5 years) by a vote of 209 to 114. 

Voters in New Lexington School District approved a Current Operating Expenses Levy – Renewal (3 mills/5 years) by a vote of 1,844 to 1,300. 

Voters in Perry County approved a Senior Citizens Levy – Renewal (0.5 mills/5 years) by a vote of 7,166 to 3,734. 

Voters in Perry County approved a Board of Health Levy – Renewal (1 mill/10 years) by a vote of 6,016 to 4,858. 

Voters in Perry County approved a Children Services Levy – Renewal (2 mills/10 years) by a vote of 6,506 to 4,427. 

Voters in Crooksville approved a Park and Pool Levy – Renewal (0.4 mills/5 years) by a vote of 330 to 147. 

Voters in Glenford approved a Current Expenses Levy – Renewal (2.3 mills) by a vote of 37 to 22. 

Voters in Hemlock approved a Gas Aggregation by a vote of 34 to 18. 

Voters in Hemlock approved an Electric Aggregation by a vote of 35 to 17. 

Voters in Junction City approved a Streets, Roads and Bridges Levy – Renewal (2.5 mills/5 years) by a vote of 157 to 37. 

Voters in Junction City approved a Current Expenses Levy – Renewal (2.2 mills/5 years) by a vote of 149 to 46. 

Voters in Roseville approved a Fire Protection Levy – Renewal (3 mills/5 years) by a vote of 209 to 95. 

Voters in Roseville voted down an Electric Aggregation by a vote of 193 to 102. 

Voters in Roseville voted down a Gas Aggregation by a vote of 195 to 101. 

Voters in Somerset voted down a Gas Aggregation by a vote of 237 to 183.
