Here are the unofficial 2024 primary election results for Vinton County
< < Back to vinton-county-unofficial-primary-election-results-2024ATHENS, Ohio (WOUB) —A total of 27.05% of registered voters cast ballots in Tuesday’s primary election in Vinton County, according to unofficial election results.
In the Vinton County Commissioner race for the term starting January 2, 2025, Republican Kevin D. Cozad will likely be in an uncontested race in the November general election. Cozad received 924 votes to defeat his opponent Mark D. Fout who received 767 votes.
In the Vinton County Commissioner race for the term starting January 3, 2025 Jeffery A. Harper III won the Republican primary with 654 votes compared to his opponents William W. Wellman with 596 votes and Charles W. Pittman with 386 votes.
In the Democratic primary for the same term Lynn Herrold won with 145 votes compared to 144 votes for Jeff Allan Fee and 131 votes for Michael E. Betts.
Herrold and Harper will face each other in the November general election.
