ATHENS, Ohio (WOUB) — The Ohio Bobcats (4-3, 2-1 MAC) fell last week to their arch-rival Miami University in a game that would’ve significantly helped the chances of a MAC Championship appearance for the team. Despite the setback, all the Bobcats need are just two more wins over their next five games in order to reach the bowl eligibility threshold of six wins. Ohio is projected to make a bowl game from nine national media outlets’ bowl projections we’re tracking ahead of Bowl Season. In addition, we’re now tracking Sports Illustrated’s bowl projections to bring our total to 10 national media outlets. The IS4S Salute to Veterans Bowl (formerly the Camellia Bowl) is still the most popular projected destination for the Bobcats, with four of the ten outlets putting them in Montgomery come mid-December.

Note: If an outlet has ‘N/A’ next to its name, they do not currently have Ohio in a bowl game in their projections.
