Here are the 2024 general election results for Hocking County

HOCKING COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – According to unofficial results, 72.69% of registered voters in Hocking County cast ballots in the 2024 general election. 

Voters in the county supported Republican Donald Trump for president with 71.4% of the vote, followed by Democrat Kamala Harris with 27.66%. 

In the race for U.S. Senate, Hocking County voters preferred Republican Bernie Moreno with 64.49% of the vote followed by Democrat Sen. Sherrod Brown with 31.24%. 

A majority of Hocking County voters cast ballots against Issue 1 with 65.38% of the vote. 

In the race for Hocking County Commissioner, Republican Micheal Linton received 8,789 votes to win. Democrat Pat Hartman received 3,675 votes.

Republican Jason D’Onofrio received 8,612 votes to win his race for Hocking County Commissioner for the term starting January 2, 2025. Democrat Michael Schrader received 3,975 votes.

In the race for Hocking County Commissioner for the term starting January 3, 2025. Republican Andrew Davidson received 8,266 votes to win. Democrat Sandra Ogle received 4,469 votes.

In the race for Hocking County Recorder, Republican Teresa Salizzoni received 8,734 votes to win. Democrat Marc Snoke received 3,692 votes.

Republican Blaine Davidson received 8,184 votes to win his race for Hocking County Treasurer. Democrat Janie Harris received 4,309 votes.

Voters in Laurelville voted down a current expenses levy replacement of 1.4 mills for five years with a vote of 98-89. 

Voters in Laurelville also voted down a police levy replacement of seven mills for five years with a vote of 99-88. 

Voters in Benton Township voted down a fire levy renewal of one mill for five years with a vote of 201-179. 

Voters in Good Hope Township approved a fire levy renewal of one mill for five years with a vote of 455-253. 

Voters in Saltcreek Township approved a fire levy renewal of one mill for five years with a vote of 258-208.
