Ween, Emmylou Harris Among First Round of ‘NMF 17 Acts

Today Stuart’s Opera House announced the first wave of acts for the 2017 Nelsonville Music Festival, which will take place June 1-4 at Robbin’s Crossing in Nelsonville.

Oft-experimental alt-rock legends Ween will headline Saturday, June 3 and beloved country rocker Emmylou Harris will headline Sunday, June 4.

The other acts announced in this initial wave of ‘NMF 17 include Rodriguez, Son Volt, Parquet Courts, Twin Peaks, Sara Watkins, Big Thief, Honeyhoney, Margaret Glaspy, Sallie Ford, Mothers, Ron Gallo, Marisa Anderson, Hellnaw, Weedghost, and Aaron Michael Butler with the Tied for 5th Percussion Group.

Many more acts are slated to be announced as the year rolls on. The festival will feature over 60 acts over the course of four days, in addition to on-site camping, vendors of all types, local chow, a beer garden and much more.
