Here are the unofficial 2023 General Election results for Guernsey County

GUERNSEY COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) — Here are the unofficial results for contested races and local issues in Guernsey County.
Stephanie L. Williams won a position as Guernsey County municipal court judge with 66% of the vote. Myra Scheurer received 34% of the vote.
Steve Mourer (D) won a position as 1st Ward representative on Cambridge city council with 55% of the vote. Jeff A. Leonard (R) received 45% of the vote.
Tammy Gress-Wills won a position as mayor of Pleasant City with 67% of the vote. Greg Scurlock won 20% of the vote and Donald Blair won 13% of the vote.
Scott E. Buxton won a position as Center Township trustee with 55% of the vote. Jeffrey Bridgeman received 45% of the vote.
Ron Gombeda won a position as Jackson Township trustee with 34% of the vote. Donald J. Marlatt received 29% of the vote. Dennis J. Gibbs received 13% of the vote. Tom Kenworthy received 12% of the vote. Glen Underwood received 12% of the vote.
Jay McCulloch won a position as Oxford Township trustee with 51% of the vote. Robert A. Oakley received 49% of the vote.
Danny Mallett won a position as Richland Township trustee with 40% of the vote. John M. Bates and Michael Warner both received 30% of the vote.
Delbert Adams won a position as Valley Township trustee with 47% of the vote. David Warner received 28% of the vote and Robert Heady received 25% of the vote.
Jeffrey D. Miser won a position as Valley Township fiscal officer with 50% of the vote. Karen S. Sherman received 42% of the vote and Kenneth L. Trott III received 8%.
Steven A. Taylor and Ronald B. Miller won positions on the Cambridge City Board of Education with 42% and 27% of the vote respectively. Rachel Kanski received 18% of the vote and Sarah Flaten received 13% of the vote.
Matt Motes won a position on the Rolling Hills Board of Education with 51% of the vote. Bryan Stoney received 49% of the vote.

Voters in Byesville approved a Fire Protection Levy – Renewal (1.5 mills/5 years) by a vote of 398 to 183.
Voters in Cumberland approved a Fire Protection Levy – Renewal (1 mill/5 years) by a vote of 64 to 19.
Voters in Cumberland approved a Fire Protection Levy – Renewal (4 mills/5 years) by a vote of 62 to 21.
Voters in Old Washington approved a Current Expenses Levy – Renewal (6 mills/5 years) by a vote of 56 to 17.
Voters in Pleasant City approved a Fire Protection Levy – Replacement (0.5 mills/5 years) by a vote of 71 to 27.

Voters in Liberty Township approved a Cemetery Levy – Renewal (0.25 mills/5 years) by a vote of 235 to 98.
Voters in Liberty Township approved a Fire Protection Levy – Renewal (1 mill/5 years) by a vote of 254 to 78.
Voters in Millwood Township approved a Current Expenses Levy – Renewal (1.5 mills/5 years) by a vote of 184 to 112.
Voters in Monroe Township approved a Fire Protection Levy – Renewal (1 mill/5 years) by a vote of 152 to 71.
Voters in Spencer Township approved a Fire Protection Levy – Renewal (1 mill/5 years) by a vote of 179 to 45.
Voters in Valley Township approved a Fire Protection Levy – Replacement (0.4 mills/5 years) by a vote of 398 to 172.
Voters in Wills Township approved a Fire Protection Levy – Renewal (1 mill/5 years) by a vote of 252 to 153.
Voters in the East Muskingum Local School District approved an Emergency Levy – Additional (1.3 mills/5 years) by a vote of 2,222 to 2,221.
