Here are the 2024 general election results for Perry County

PERRY, Ohio (WOUB) – According to unofficial results, 73.83 percent of registered voters in Perry cast ballots in the 2024 general election. 

Voters in the county supported Republican Donald J. Trump for president with 76.7 percent of the vote, followed by Democrat Kamala Harris with 22.4 percent. 

In the race for U.S. Senate, Morgan County voters preferred Republican Bernie Moreno with 69.3 percent of the vote followed by Democrat Sherrod Brown with 26.8 percent. 

A majority of Morgan County voters cast ballots against Issue 1 with 70.3 percent of the vote. 

In the race for County Commissioner, Republican Chase Bennett received 11,313 votes to win. Renee L. Young received 4,399 votes.  

In the race for County Auditor, Republican Derek Householder received 9,602 votes to win. Ron Baker received 4,319. Lucinda Reichley Yinger received 1,827 votes.

Voters in Village of Corning approved current expenses levy renewal B of 5 mills for five years with a vote of 82-49. 

Voters in Village of Corning approved a streets levy renewal of 5 mills for five years with a vote of 82-47. 

Voters in Village of Corning approved a cemetery levy renewal of 3 mills for five years with a vote of 84-46. 

Voters in Village of Crooksville voted down an ordinance electric aggregation with a vote of 474-275. 

Voters in Village of Crooksville voted down an ordinance gas aggregation with a vote of 472-281. 

Voters in Village of Hemlock approved a streets and bridges levy additional of 1 mill for five years with a vote of 41-27. 

Voters in Village of Roseville approved a cemetery levy renewal of 1.2 mills for five years with a vote of 143-129. 

Voters in Village of Roseville voted down a parks and recreation levy renewal of 1 mill for five years with a vote of 139-130. 

Voters in Village of Shawnee approved a streets levy renewal of 1 mill for five years with a vote of 132-55. 

Voters in Village of Shawnee approved a police department levy renewal of 4 mills for five years with a vote of 128-63. 

Voters in Village of Thornville voted down a parks and recreation levy of 0.75 mills for five years with a vote of 307-253. 

Voters in Hopewell Township voted down a fire protection levy replacement and increase of 2.5 mills for five years with a vote of 715-643. 

Voters in Jackson Township voted down a fire protection levy replacement of 2.5 mills with a vote of 726-528. 

Voters in Jackson Township voted down a fire protection levy replacement of 2 mills with a vote of 692-569. 

Voters in Jackson Township voted down a zoning plan with a vote of 595-366. 

Voters in Pike Township voted down a cemetery levy replacement of 0.7 mills for five years with a vote of 1,426-1,300. 

Voters in Reading Township approved a parks and recreation levy renewal of 0.5 mills for five years with a vote of 1,151-1,066. 

Voters in Saltlick Township voted down an electric aggregation with a vote of 134-100. 

Voters in Saltlick Township voted down a current expenses levy additional of 1 mill for five years with a vote of 270-223. 

Voters in Franklin Local School District voted down a permanent improvements levy renewal of 2 mills for five years with a vote of 232-177. 

Voters in Perry County voted down a home operation levy renewal of 2 mills for five years with a vote of 8,001-7,998. 

Voters in Perry County approved a 9-1-1 operation levy renewal of 1 mill for five years with a vote of 9,099-7,010.
