WOUB Named Finalist For Two Ohio Associated Press Broadcaster Awards

WOUB has been named finalists for two Ohio Associated Press Broadcaster awards.
In the small market television category, "Saving the Snyder" is a finalist in the Best Documentary or Series category. The documentary showcases a nine-month renovation of the W.P. Snyder, Jr, a steamboat stationed in Marietta, Ohio.
WOUB staff Cheri Russo, director/producer, Jonathan Falk, editor/videographer and Mark Robinson, audio, will be honored for the award.
WOUB's website, woub.org, was also nominated in the Small Radio and Television category for Best Website. The interactive website was redesigned and launched in August 2011.
The awards will be presented at OAPB's annual convention June 3 in Columbus.
