Guernsey County Unofficial Election Results

In Guernsey County, Democrat Dave Saft is the unofficial winner over Republican Randy Mercer for county commissioner 53 percent to 47 percent.

Republican Ernest Gardner Jr. is the unofficial winner over Democrat Steve Allen for county comissioner 50 percent to 49 percent.

Republican Colleen Wheatley is the unofficial winner over Democrat Ronald Gombeda for county recorder 62 percent to 38 percent.

Republican James Caldwell is the unofficial winner over Democrat Darlene Miser for county treasurer 61 percent to 39 percent.

Senior Citizens Meals on Wheels Program tax levy has been unofficially passed with 77 percent for it and 23 percent against it.

The Cambridge City School District tax levy has been unofficially passed with 62 percent for it and 38 percent against it.

Guernsey County voted to unofficially turn down the Buckeye Joint Vocational School District tax levy replacement 67 percent to 34 percent.

But this issue is a joint county issue, and there are not final counts on the Tuscarawas County votes.
