The Greater Huntington Jazz Ensemble and Symphonic Band will perform on Sunday, September 9 at 6 p.m. at the 14th St. Gazebo in west Huntington. The jazz ensemble will open the program with five Big Band Era standards, followed by the symphonic band which will perform a mixture of patriotic selections, music from movies and musicals, Brazilian and Afro-Cuban-style selections, and a Duke Ellington big band medley. Admission is free but donations will be accepted to assist with the purchase of band music.
